Began his career at the University of Buffalo (2015-18), redshirting his true freshman season, before being a graduate transfer and ending his collegiate career at Maryland. Started 41 of 50 games in his college career, posting 73 receptions for 722 yards and six touchdowns. Chose Maryland over Alabama and started all 12 games for the Terps, recording 13 receptions for 155 yards and three touchdowns. Was named first-team All-Mid American Conference in 2018 at Buffalo after starting all 14 games and posting 27 receptions for 230 yards and two touchdowns. After playing three seasons at Lincoln High School in Ypsilanti, Mich., he played his senior season for head coach Chris Weinke at IMG Academy, where he was used primarily as a blocking tight end. He had 11 receptions for 154 yards and a touchdown in his senior season at IMG. Helped lead the Ascenders to a 10-1 record and a No. 1-ranking in the state of Florida. At Lincoln, he had 19 receptions for 270 yards and two touchdowns. Majored in communications.
