COLLEGE: Was a three-year letterman, three-time Academic All-Big Ten (2020-22), 2022 Second-Team All-American, 2022 All-Big Ten first team, 2022 Big Ten Defensive Lineman of the Year, 2022 Richard Katcher Award winner as UM's top defensive lineman or outside linebacker and a 2022 Bednarik Award semifinalist. Appeared in 27 games with 16 starts during his career. Registered 40 tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss, 8.0 sacks, one interception and three pass breakups.
PERSONAL: Attended American Heritage High. Registered 89 tackles as a senior, including 25 tackles for loss, five sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and blocked a punt which he returned for a touchdown. Recorded 84 tackles, 31 tackles for loss, and four sacks as a junior. Tallied 13 sacks as a freshman. Was a 247Sports three-star, the No. 390 prospect nationally, and the No. 48 player in Florida. Palm Beach all-county honoree (2015-18) and a member of Palm Beach Post and Sun-Sentinel Super 11 lists in 2018. Was a two-time all-area first team (2017-18). Son of Mike Morris Sr. and Melanie Balen-Morris, Father was an offensive lineman at Florida State. Majored in communications and media.
