• Activated from practice squad (COVID-19 replacement) for three games in 2021. Started at strong safety at Arizona in place of Ryan Neal (COVID-19) and had 10 tackles (6 solo), and one pass defensed.
• Jones, a second-round pick out of NC State in the 2017 draft, spent his first two seasons in Green Bay, starting seven games as a rookie, and has also played for Dallas, Jacksonville and most recently the Colts, appearing in a total of 54 games, starting 25. Last season Jones started 13 games for Jacksonville, recording a career-best 83 tackles and one interception.
COLLEGE:Started in 28 of 32 games played in three seasons at North Carolina State and finished each season in the top five on the team in tackles (no. 5 in 2014, no. 3 in 2015 and no. 1 in 2016). Named Honorable Mention All-Atlantic Coast Conference in 2016.
PERSONAL:Attended Walled Lake Western High, where he lettered two years in football and one year in track and field. Played safety, running back, wide receiver and cornerback. As a senior, recorded 95 tackles, five interceptions and two fumbles returned for touchdowns while rushing for 668 yards and 19 touchdowns, and totaling 303 receiving yards with four scores.
