NFL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• Was unable to finish his 2019 season after a knee injury in Week 14 landed him on injured reserve. Had 65 rushes for 370 yards (5.7 avg.) and three touchdowns on the season, in addition to a receiving touchdown.
• Scored a career-long 58-yard TD run in Week 12 of 2019 at Philadelphia, when he also rushed for a career-long 129 yards on 14 carries (9.2 avg.).
• Finished third on the team in rushing his rookie season with 85 attempts for 419 yards and one 100-yard rushing game.
COLLEGE:Â Did not miss a game at San Diego State, playing in all 54 games with 18 starts. For his career, recorded 3,656 yards rushing on 488 carries (7.5 avg.) and 38 rushing TDs, in addition to 479 receiving yards and 6 receiving TDs. Finished his career tied for the most career kick return touchdowns (7) and return (KR/PR) touchdowns (8) in NCAA FBS history. Four of his seven kick return touchdowns went for 100 yards which was just one shy of tying a NCAA FBS record. Averaged 7.49 yards per carry, the third-best mark in NCAA FBS play since 1996 (min. 400 att.).
PERSONAL:Â A three-time letter-winner at Norwalk High School in Norwalk, Calif. Rushed for 2,504 yards and 41 touchdowns on 216 carries as a senior. Also caught 21 passes for 665 yards and 10 touchdowns. Racked up 3,416 all-purpose yards. Over his career, amassed 5,124 rushing yards on 496 carries (10.33 avg.). Scored 103 touchdowns, including 80 on the ground. Made 68 tackles on defense as a senior and 90 overall. Was named the Suburban League MVP as a senior, while earning first-team all-Suburban League honors his final three years. Named first-team all-state. Rashaad Armein Penny was born Feb. 2, 1996, in Norwalk, Calif. Son of Robert and Desiree. Majored in interdisciplinary studies.
