- Started all 16 games for the first time in his career and posted a career-high 3.0 sacks. Teamed with Lano Hill on a goal-line stand to tackle Cam Newton to seal a victory (9/20/20).
- Saw limited playing time during his rookie year, playing in 11 games and being inactive for five.
Totaled 82 tackles in his TCU career, including 20.5 for a loss with 14.5 sacks. Played in 42 games. A first‐team All‐Big 12 selection by the conference head coaches and Pro Football Focus. PFF gave him the highest grade among edge rushers in the Big 12 in 2018. Placed second on TCU with his career‐high 6.0 sacks and 11.5 tackles for loss.
