As a junior, named All-Serra League First Team, Cal-Hi Sports All-State Underclass First Team and Los Angeles Daily News all-area. As a sophomore, attended Dorsey High School in Los Angeles, Calif. Named All-Los Angeles City Division I First Team as a defensive lineman.
