Became the first defensive lineman in OSU history to score two defensive touchdowns in a single season in 2018, returning an interception 28 yards (vs. TCU, 9/15) and recovering a fumble in the end zone (vs. MSU, 11/10). Selected third-team All-Big Ten. Helped the Buckeyes win the Big Ten Conference Championship and the Cotton Bowl his redshirt sophomore season. PERSONAL: Jones was named first-team Division-I All-Ohio and U.S. Army All-American as a senior at Saint Ignatius High School in Cleveland. Recorded 47 tackles, 21 tackles for a loss, four sacks and four forced fumbles as a senior. Began playing football as a high school junior. Played basketball and was ranked as a consensus four-star prospect. Dre'Mont Jones was born on Jan. 5, 1997, in Cleveland, Ohio.
