• Alexander, who played at Division III Franklin College, first signed with the Lions as a rookie in 2018 and was in Detroit for multiple stints on the roster and practice squad over the next two seasons. Has also spent time in the XFL, CFL and most recently in the Spring League with the Alphas in 2021.
COLLEGE: At Franklin, he averaged 101.6 yards per game over two seasons (2016-17), catching 114 passes for 2,133 yards and 33 touchdowns.
PERSONAL: Attended Manual High in Indianapolis. Had to put his football dreams on hold when he was in high school in order to be the caretaker for his single father, Gerald. After surgery complications left Gerald close to death, Alexander opted to stay in-state to start his football career so he could nurse his father back to health. Now that his father is healthy, Alexander is finally pursuing his dream of playing professional football.
