COLLEGE: Started all 47 games played for SMU and played both center and guard. Started all 13 games at center for the Mustangs during his senior season and blocked for an offense that ranked 12th nationally in scoring offense (37.8), 15th in total offense (478.5) and 19th in passing offense (294.1).
PERSONAL: Prepped at Southlake Carroll High, where he helped the team to an 11-2 record as a senior, recording 91 pancakes, and 93 knockdowns. His senior year accolades included first-team All-Texas by Dave Campbell's Texas Football, Texas Sports Writers Association and Padilla Poll first-team All-State pick, selected to the Star-Telegram Super Team and the 2013 Taco Bell All-North Texas Team, and was as a finalist for the LaDainian Tomlinson Offensive Player of the Year.
