In his career, recorded 338 tackles (190 solo), 11.5 TFLs, 4.0 sacks, four interceptions, 16 passes defensed, six forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries. Among many honors, was selected All Pac-12 first-team and was named the Pac‐12 Scholar of the Year for football and was also the Pat Tillman Pac‐12 Defensive Player of the Year. Started all 14 games and finished the year leading NCAA-FBS with 176 total tackles, in addition to 5.5 TFLs, 2.0 sacks, 2 INTs, 8 passes defensed, 4 forced fumbles and 3 fumble recoveries.
Named the MaxPreps All‐Northern California Defensive Player of the Year and Division III State Player of the Year as a senior in 2014. Led the Gators to a 13‐0 record, the PAL‐Bay Division title and the CIF Central Coast Section Open Division crown in 2014, leading the team in tackles, with 116, despite missing much of the first half of the season due to an Achilles tendon injury suffered during track season. Also rushed for 1,086 yards on 106 carries, had 224 receiving yards and scored 19 touchdowns. As a junior, helped Sacred Heart to a 13‐2 record, its first Northern California Division III title, and its first berth in the Division III championship game. Notched 204 total tackles (136 solo), six sacks and four interceptions while rushing for 451 yards and 11 TDs. Also was a sprinter on the track team, running the anchor leg on a 4x100 team that set a school record.
