COLLEGE: Took part in Seattle's rookie minicamp as a tryout player in May of 2025. Was a three-year starter for the Huskies, and was voted a team captain in 2024. In his three years as a starter, Tuputala totaled 221 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 8.0 sacks and one interception. In 2023, he started 14 games for the Washington squad that reached the CFP Championship Game.
PERSONAL: Lettered three years for the Federal Way High School Eagles, playing middle linebacker and fullback. Was an Associated Press 4A all-state first-team linebacker following senior season, also a All-North Puget Sound League Valley Division first-team selection at linebacker and a USA Today All-Washington second-team pick. Named to the NPSL Olympic Division first team as a junior. Selected to play in the Polynesian Bowl following his senior year. Listed by 247Sports as the No. 41 inside linebacker in the nation and the No. 9 recruit in Washington.
