Die Super Bowl Champions sind nicht nur Meister im American Football, sondern auch im Feiern ihres Erfolges. Das bewiesen allen voran die Spieler der Seahawks bei der privaten Ringzeremonie in Seattle am 11. Juni 2026. Sportler, Coaches und Mitarbeitende des Teams aus der Meistersaison 2025 erhielten ihre Championship-Ringe und feierten diesen bis tief in die Nacht.
Party eskaliert – aber nicht so wie du denkst
Irgendwann gegen 21 Uhr wurde klar, dass die Party etwas außer Kontrolle geraten waren. Nicht auf schlechte Weise wohlgemerkt – vielmehr in dem Sinne, dass es wahrscheinlich nie realistisch gewesen war, zu erwarten, dass eine Feier voller NFL-Spieler, die den größten Erfolg ihres Profilebens zelebrieren, sich strikt an einen Zeitplan halten würde.
Mehr als eine Stunde nachdem das Abendessen eigentlich beendet sein sollte und alle ihre Championship-Ringe hätten erhalten sollen, waren die Spieler über zwei verschiedene Partybereiche verteilt, die in einem Hangar von Flugzeughersteller Boeing aufgebaut worden waren. Sie unterhielten sich, tranken etwas und genossen einfach die gemeinsame Zeit.
Diese Spieler, die während ihres gesamten Super-Bowl-Laufs immer wieder ihre außergewöhnliche Gemeinschaft als geheime Zutat des Erfolgs bezeichnet hatten, hatten viel zu viel Spaß miteinander, um sich Gedanken über einen Zeitplan oder die armen Menschen zu machen, die versuchten, diesen einzuhalten.
Schließlich kehrten nach viel Überredungskunst des Moderators und verschiedener Mitarbeiter alle zu ihren Tischen zurück, während auf einer riesigen Leinwand an der Vorderseite des Raumes ein fünfminütiger Countdown eingeblendet wurde. Allerdings lief weiterhin Musik, sodass mehrere Spieler auf die Bühne gingen und während des Countdowns tanzten. Das führte dazu, dass sie beim eigentlichen Ring-Enthüllungsmoment gar nicht an ihren Plätzen waren.
Also wurde die Uhr noch einmal auf drei Minuten zurückgesetzt.
Verspätete Bescherung
Und schließlich – fast 90 Minuten später als ursprünglich geplant – begannen die Ringe von den an der Decke befestigten Lichtinstallationen zu den Spielern, Trainern und Mitarbeitern an ihren Tischen herabzusinken.
Das Schmuckstück wurde vom Luxusjuwelier Jason of Beverly Hills in Zusammenarbeit mit der Führung der Seahawks entworfen und gefertigt.
Die vollständig in den USA hergestellten Ringe zeichnen sich durch ein beeindruckendes Design aus Diamanten und Saphiren aus, das auf mehreren Ebenen die Meisterschaftssaison der Seahawks würdigt. Zahlreiche erzählerische Elemente wurden in das Design integriert. Jeder Ring wurde in Los Angeles von den hauseigenen Kunsthandwerkern, Ingenieuren, Edelsteinfassern und Produktionsspezialisten von Jason of Beverly Hills gefertigt.

Das Herzstück zeigt blaue Saphire, das Seahawks-Logo und zwei Lombardi Trophys und symbolisiert damit die zwei Super-Bowl-Titel des Teams. - SEAHAWKS-LOGO
Fünfzig brillante runde weiße Diamanten umgeben das mittige Logo als Hommage an die 50. Saison der Organisation. - STADIONDACH-BÖGEN
Inspiriert von der Lumen-Field-Architektur stehen die ikonischen Dachbögen des Stadions im Mittelpunkt. Sie sind aus Weißgold gefertigt und mit Baguette-Diamanten akzentuiert. - SPIELERSEITE
Jede Spielerseite ist individuell mit dem Nachnamen des Spielers, seiner Trikotnummer und dem Teammotto "M.O.B." gestaltet. - TEAMSEITE
Die gegenüberliegende Seite hebt die Teamvision "12 AS ONE" hervor und zeigt die Skyline von Seattle, das Meisterschaftsjahr sowie das Logo von Super Bowl LX. - DIAMANTEN
Der Ring ist mit einer aufwendigen Anordnung aus runden, Smaragdschliff- und Marquiseschliff-Diamanten besetzt, die sorgfältig gefasst wurden, um maximale Brillanz zu erzielen und den Erfolg des Teams zu würdigen. - SPECIAL FEATURE
Der Ring hat einen speziell entwickelten Mechanismus: Per Knopfdruck öffnen sich die berühmten Lumen-Field-Dachbögen und geben die Inschrift "WORLD CHAMPIONS" frei. - ANHÄNGER
Das Oberteil des Rings kann von der Ringschiene abgenommen und in einen Anhänger verwandelt werden, der an einer Kette getragen werden kann. - RING-INNENTEIL
Im Inneren des Rings befindet sich ein authentisches Stück eines Spielballs aus der Saison und die Zahl 50 zur Würdigung der 50. Seahawks-Spielzeit. - RINGSCHIENE
Der untere Teil des Rings zeigt zwölf Federn, die die Leidenschaft und das Engagement der legendären Seahawks-Fans, der 12s, ehren. - INNENGRAVUR
Die Innenseite des Rings trägt die Gravur "17 WINS", die die Gesamtzahl der Siege des Teams in der Regular Season und in den anschließenden Playoff-Spielen repräsentiert.
Ein Ring der Superlative
Die "12 Flag"-Funktion zählt zu den technisch anspruchsvollsten Konstruktionsmerkmalen, die jemals in einen Super-Bowl-Ring integriert wurden. Sie erfordert einen komplexen internen Mechanismus mit mehreren Hebel- und Federsystemen. Die Entwicklung dieser Konstruktion nahm mehrere Monate in Anspruch, um sicherzustellen, dass der Mechanismus zuverlässig funktioniert und gleichzeitig Stabilität, Haltbarkeit und höchste handwerkliche Qualität gewährleistet werden.
Vom ersten Konzept bis zur Fertigstellung durchlief jeder Ring einen umfangreichen dreimonatigen Produktionsprozess, der Konzeptentwicklung, Konstruktion, Beschaffung der Edelsteine, Gussverfahren, manuelles Setzen der Steine, Politur sowie mehrere Qualitätskontrollen umfasste.
"Die bedeutungsvollsten Elemente eines Rings sind oft die Details, die auf den ersten Blick gar nicht sichtbar sind", erklärte Juwelier Jason Arasheben. "Viele Designentscheidungen wurden bewusst getroffen, um prägende Momente der Saison, die Kultur der Organisation und die Verbindung zwischen Team, Fans und der Stadt Seattle zu würdigen. Dieser Ring wurde nicht einfach als Schmuckstück entworfen, sondern als dauerhafte Zeitkapsel einer Meisterschafts-Ära."
Nach der Ring-Enthüllung ist vor der Party
Nachdem die Ringe überreicht worden waren, verlagerte sich die Feier in einen dritten Bereich des Hangars, wo Star-Produzent und DJ Metro Boomin auflegte.
Die Veranstalter hatten sich auf die Möglichkeit vorbereitet, dass die Party nach der Ringübergabe etwas an Schwung verlieren könnte. Bei anderen Teams war es in der Vergangenheit durchaus vorgekommen, dass Spieler kurz nach dem Erhalt ihrer Ringe die Feier verließen.
Doch dieses Seahawks-Team war anders.
Für eine Mannschaft, deren außergewöhnlicher Zusammenhalt eines der prägenden Merkmale ihrer Meistersaison gewesen war, gab es keinen anderen Ort, an dem sie lieber gewesen wären. Die Spieler blieben bis tief in die Nacht. Viele von ihnen standen gemeinsam mit Metro Boomin auf der Bühne und tanzten.
Zu einem Zeitpunkt rief Metro Boomin ins Mikrofon: "Y'all ready to run it back!", was auf Deutsch in etwa bedeutet: "Seid ihr bereit für die Titelverteidigung?"
Daraufhin waren von mehreren Spielern auf der Bühne deutlich hörbare Antworten zu vernehmen: "Neeeeein!"
Selbst in diesem Moment, während sie eine dominante Saison und einen Super-Bowl-Titel feierten, hatten die Spieler bereits ein Auge auf die Zukunft gerichtet. Sie erinnerten sich an die neue Botschaft ihres Head Coaches Mike Macdonald: Nicht "run it back", sondern "run it forward".
Ein Satz, der verdeutlicht, wie dieses Team seine historische Saison betrachtet. Die Seahawks wollen den Erfolg nicht einfach wiederholen oder an Vergangenem festhalten. Stattdessen soll die nächste Herausforderung in Angriff genommen werden – mit derselben Geschlossenheit, die diese Mannschaft bis zur Lombardi Trophy geführt hat.
