Good afternoon, 12s. Here's a look at what's going on out there and any news you might have missed, about your Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks play Sunday at 10:00 a.m. PT against the Tennessee Titans. Here is news from the week to get you ready for the matchup and other news out there about the Seattle Seahawks.

Five questions from Seahawks.com about this week's opponent; five answers from tennesseetitans.com senior writer Jim Wyatt.

There's always going to be a big spotlight on a quarterback picked No. 1 overall. What has Cam Ward shown in his rookie season so far?

Wyatt: Cam is making strides, while also showing he still has room for improvement. It was encouraging for Titans fans to see him guide a 95-yard drive in the closing minutes last week against the Texans, which tied the game. But he also turned the ball over in the game, his 12th turnover of the season. Cam has made some great throws, and he's missed some throws he has to make. But it's all part of growing as a rookie quarterback. Cam has proven to be a great leader, and teammate, and he puts in the work. Despite some inconsistency, I think he's given plenty of reasons for fans to be optimistic.

@MrEd315 asks, "In the spirit of Thanksgiving, what should the Seahawks be thankful for?"

A: I'd say quite a bit, starting with a 7-3 record that, even after a loss, has the Seahawks in great position to reach the postseason and well within striking distance of the division lead, especially with the Rams still having to come to Seattle next month.

If I had to start with one element of the team, I'd probably go with Mike Macdonald's defense, which has been so, so good this season despite pretty regularly playing without multiple key players in any given game, most recently Jarran Reed and Julian Love, who are both on injured reserve.

But also, let's not shortchange the offense, which has been one of the most explosive and highest-scoring units in the league this season. Sunday's game notwithstanding, Darnold has been outstanding, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba has emerged as the league's most productive receiver this season.

So yeah, again, I'd say there's a ton to be thankful for if you're a Seahawks fan.

In the past, all three corners would play a lot regardless of who was the starter in base defense, but with the Seahawks playing so much big nickel with Nick Emmanwori in the game instead of a third cornerback, there will likely be less playing time for one of those two. Whoever gets the start, Woolen's recent return to form is great news for the team's cornerback depth heading into the second half of the season.

"It's a process," Macdonald said of Woolen's improvement. "It's just the incremental gains every day. (He's) just been going to do the reps with the attention to detail, the preparation, the extra ball drills, and all those things that makes the ball come to life on Sunday."

The Seahawks get set to travel to Nashville, Tennessee for a matchup vs. the 1-9 Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium. The team will wear their white jerseys and wolf grey pants as they look to get back in the win column.

Through the NFL's initiative, players, coaches and Seahawks Legends get to support organizations that are meaningful to them through custom-made cleats and shoes. And when the Seahawks travel to Tennessee for their matchup against the Titans, some players will be sporting their custom-made cleats.
