The Seahawks are back on the road this weekend, heading to Nashville to face the Titans. The 7-3 Seahawks are looking to bounce back from a close loss to the Rams that ended a four-game winning streak, while the Titans (1-9) are looking to snap a five-game losing streak.

To help you get ready for this week's game; we reached out to tennesseetitans.com senior writer Jim Wyatt with five questions about the Seahawks' Week 12 opponent.

There's always going to be a big spotlight on a quarterback picked No. 1 overall. What has Cam Ward shown in his rookie season so far?

Wyatt: Cam is making strides, while also showing he still has room for improvement. It was encouraging for Titans fans to see him guide a 95-yard drive in the closing minutes last week against the Texans, which tied the game. But he also turned the ball over in the game, his 12th turnover of the season. Cam has made some great throws, and he's missed some throws he has to make. But it's all part of growing as a rookie quarterback. Cam has proven to be a great leader, and teammate, and he puts in the work. Despite some inconsistency, I think he's given plenty of reasons for fans to be optimistic.

Obviously, the Titans aren't where they want to be at 1-9, what's the mood/vibe around the team like right now? And while I doubt anyone is looking for moral victories, does a couple of one-score losses against quality opponents show some growth happening as the season goes along?

Wyatt: Well, players are frustrated, and tired of losing. This team is coming off a 3-14 season, so dating back to last year the Titans have now lost 19 of the last 23 games. think the close losses have probably provided even more frustration, to be honest, because it's made players look at how a mistake here and there can cost the team a game.

Aside from the obvious big names, what player or players could you see being an X-factor for the Titans in this one?

Wyatt: Jeffery Simmons is the most dominating player every week for the Titans. He's a tone-setter. If you're looking for an under-the-radar guy on defense, let's go with rookie safety Kevin Winston Jr. He's playing more and more these days, and he's a future star in the making.

What matchup or matchups are you most looking forward to seeing play out on Sunday?

Wyatt: The Titans are thinned out at receiver, with Calvin Ridley going on injured reserve this week. Some other receivers are banged up, and will need to be evaluated during the course of the week. Who steps up to help out the rookie QB against a good Seattle defense is worth watching.

And a bonus, non-football question. Plenty of Seahawks fans are making the trip for this game, because, well, Nashville is freakin' awesome. What are a couple must-see/do/eat/drink things you'd recommend as a local to Seattleites making the trip?

Wyatt: It's a party in downtown Nashville every night. Hit Broadway, and check out the music scene. The Southern Steak & Oyster downtown is a great spot, a bit on the pricey side. Martin's BBQ downtown is a more casual spot. Fans can stop by Fifth + Broadway for all kinds of options, from Hattie B's Hot Chicken to Slim & Husky's pizza to much, much more. It's supposed to be a beautiful weekend in Nashville.

The Seahawks and Titans face off on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Kickoff is set for 10 a.m. PT. Take a look back through history at the Seahawks' matchups against the Titans.
