To honor Kenny Easley, one of the greatest players to ever wear a Seahawks uniform, players will wear no. 45 stickers on their helmets for the remainder of the 2025 season.

Easley, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Seahawks Ring of Honor, died last week at the age of 66. In 2017, Easley's number was retired, making him one of four players, along with fellow Hall of Famers Steve Largent, Walter Jones and Cortez Kennedy, to have his number retired by the team. Now, that retired No. 45 will be worn by every player this season as the Seahawks honor one of the best safeties in league history.

In a seven-year career that was cut short by kidney disease, Easley was a three-time first-team All-Pro and five-time Pro-Bowl selection, and in 1984 he became the first player in team history to win AP Defensive Player of the Year honors.

In addition to the helmet stickers, the Seahawks also plan to honor Easley during their Week 13 home game against the Vikings.

The Seahawks began their week of practice on Wednesday, November 19 at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center as they prepare for Week 12 at Titans.
