The Seahawks activated center Jalen Sundell and tight end Eric Saubert from injured reserve on Saturday, bringing back two important parts of their offense ahead of their Week 15 game against the Colts. Rookie fifth round pick Rylie Mills was also activated after spending the entire season on the non-football injury list due to a knee injury suffered in the College Football Playoff last season.

Additionally, rookie second-round pick Elijah Arroyo was placed on injured reserve due a knee injury that forced him to exit the Week 14 win in Atlanta. The rookie tight end has played in 13 games this season, catching 15 passes for 179 yards and one touchdown.

The Seahawks opened up two spots on the 53-man roster earlier in the week by waiving cornerback Shaquill Griffin and running back Cam Akers. Both players have been signed back to the practice squad while Myles Gaskin and Jimmy Holiday were released as corresponding moves.

Running back Velus Jones Jr. was elevated from the practice squad for the third straight game.

Sundell, the team's starting center for the first nine games of the season, injured his knee in Seattle's Week 10 win over the Cardinals and has missed the last four games while on IR. Saubert has missed six games with a calf injury, and returns to give the Seahawks some needed depth at tight end with rookie Elijah Arroyo being placed on injured reserve. In addition to playing a significant role on offense, Saubert has also been a key special teams contributor this season.

Jones, who signed to Seattle's practice squad last month, was also elevated for the previous two games, playing a significant role on special teams while providing depth at running back with usual No. 3 back George Holani on injured reserve. Jones, a fourth-year veteran who previously played for Chicago, Carolina and New Orleans, carried four times for 32 yards late in last week's win over the Falcons to help close out that game.
