The Seahawks signed fullback Jackson Acker and tight end Josiah Deguara to their practice squad on Monday.

Running back Dontae McMillan and receiver Malick Meiga were released to make room on the practice squad.

Acker, an undrafted rookie out of Wisconsin, signed with the Bills following the draft, then was released in August following Buffalo's first preseason game. Acker, a two-time Academic All-Big-Ten selection, appeared in 50 games during his career at Wisconsin, starting 14, playing both fullback and running back, while also contributing on special teams. Acker, who is from Madison, Wisconsin, was not only a football standout in high school, but also a state champion in both the discus and shot put.

Deguara, a 2020 third-round pick out of Cincinnati, has appeared in 78 games with 12 starts over his seven-year career, including one game with the Eagles this season. Deguara has 53 career catches for 471 yards and three touchdowns.
