The Seahawks did a bit of roster shuffling ahead of Thursday's game in Denver, signing running back Velus Jones Jr. back to the 53-man roster while releasing receiver Irv Charles and subsequently signing him to the practice squad.

A day earlier, the Seahawks activated Charles from injured reserve, and needing a spot on the 53-man roster to do that, they released Jones. As vested veterans, neither Jones nor Charles are subject to waivers, meaning the Seahawks could immediately sign Jones to the practice squad Tuesday, allowing him to practice, then do the same with Charles on Wednesday.

Charles still could make his Seahawks debut on Thursday if the Seahawks decide to elevate him from the practice squad ahead of the game.
