After a kick return, the Seahawks had exactly 42 seconds and no timeouts to go down and score. Thanks to a Rashid Shaheed 28-yard kick return, the Seahawks started its drive at their own 37-yard line. On the return, Shaheed said he knew he at least wanted to get to the Seahawks 40-yard line. "I feel like that would have set us up for a good field position," Shaheed said.

After a breakout game last week against the Falcons, Shaheed had another solid outing with five receptions for 74 yards. He also had Seattle's only two receptions on their game-winning drive.

Mike said Shaheed's contributions on that drive were, "Incredibly important. (If we) don't move the ball we're going to lose the game. You've got to do it in a hurry. You have no timeouts and so you've got get the ball down the field."

Seattle's first play of the drive was a 17-yard pass to Shaheed, the next play Darnold spiked the ball to stop the clock and then the following play was an eight-yard reception by Shaheed. This helped put Seattle in field goal range before sending out Jason Myers to kick a 56-yard field goal.

Darnold said, "I think having 'Shid (Rashid Shaheed) and him being able to get on the same page with certain things and being ready to go when his number is called, that's been a theme since he got here. Whether it's in the punt return game, kick return game, or as a receiver. He's been doing great job for us."

Shaheed said that last drive was, "Huge."

"I feel like that's how we wanted to end the game, of course with a win. I feel like we executed at a high level and that's how we were able to drive down and get in position for a game-winning field goal."

Although he had a quiet first few games, Shaheed has started to shine in recent weeks.

"I knew my opportunities were going to come," Shaheed said. "I know my role in the offense. I feel like as long as I continue to do my job, obviously the opportunities will continue to come. And obviously my relationship with [Offensive Coordinator Klint] Kubiak is continuing to grow, and it's been a good feeling."

Receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba who notched his ninth 100-yard game this season on Sunday said, "Hell yeah, hell yeah. [Shaheed] came in clutch, that's what we expect for him to get open, and he does that. He runs great routes and he's somebody we rely on and we can depend on him, so it's awesome."

Rookie offensive lineman Grey Zabel said, "He's the man. What an unbelievable playmaker, great teammate, too. It's one of those deals when he's on the field, he's got the big play mentality, and it's super fun to have him on our squad."
