Seahawks running back Jadarian Price also attended the event for a Q&A session about what his family's journey with cancer has been like. When Price was 12, he learned that his mom, Jessica Butler, was diagnosed with breast cancer.

"At a young age, finding out that my mom had cancer, you don't think that could really happen to someone close to you," Price said in an interview for Crucial Catch month.

"My mom being diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 12 years old, I didn't understand how serious it was until I saw her go through chemo," he said. "She was barely 30 years old at the time she fought through the chemo because she had three kids to take care of. I just remember it being a huge relief that my mom would be able to be there for me and my sisters, living life to the fullest, but also spreading the word."
