Friday's Injury Report

The Seahawks head into their Week 13 contest against the Vikings with a pretty clean injury report.

Only one player on the 53-man roster has been ruled out, running back George Holani, who left last week's game with a hamstring injury. Also out is rookie defensive end Rylie Mills, who returned to practice this week after spending the season up to this point on the physically unable to perform list, the result of a torn ACL suffered late in his senior season at Notre Dame. Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald had already said that Mills will need to build his way up to being game-ready, so it's no surprise he won't play.

The Seahawks have one player listed as questionable, safety Ty Okada. Okada, who has been starting in place of an injured Julian Love, left last week's game with an oblique injury. He was replaced in the game by D'Anthony Bell, who would likely start on Sunday if Okada was unable to play. The Seahawks also added veteran safety Quandre Diggs to the practice squad this week, so he could be another option for depth if needed.

"We're working through it still with Ty," Macdonald said. "It'll probably be process, even up to game time is a possibility. Positive trending, he's getting better every day."

Inside linebackers Ernest Jones IV and Tyrice Knight are not listed with a game status designation so that means they will return this week after missing last week's win in Tennessee.

The Vikings, meanwhile, will be without starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who was ruled out Friday with a concussion, as well as starting guard Donovan Jackson, who has an ankle injury. Five other players are listed as questionable, including left tackle Christian Darrisaw (knee/foot)

Wednesday's Injury Report

The Seahawks were back on the practice field Wednesday to prepare for their upcoming home game against the Vikings, and in an encouraging sign for his possible return, linebacker Ernest Jones IV was a full participant.

Jones, who initially returned from the injury to play against the Rams in Week 11, did not play against the Titans Sunday.

"E.J. is on his normal workload, but still going to be on ramp (up)," Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said. "I don't think we're out of the woods yet. I think he has to go test it out see how it feels in full speed for us to start making decisions."

The Seahawks had three players listed as non-participants Wednesday, two of whom exited Sunday's game with an injury, running back George Holani (hamstring) and safety Ty Okada (oblique). The third player who did not practice was outside linebacker Uchenna Nwosu, who is listed with an ankle injury. Nwosu briefly exited Sunday's game after making a play downfield in pass coverage, but was quickly able to return.

Macdonald described Okada as "day-to-day" and said he did not yet know if the safety would practice Thursday.

Rookie defensive lineman Rylie Mills, who practiced for the first time this season, was listed as a limited participant. Also limited were running back Kenneth Walker III (glute), guard Grey Zabel (knee) and defensive end Mike Morris (knee)

For the Vikings, starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who is in the concussion protocol, was listed as limited. Two players, tackle Christian Darrisaw (knee/foot) and guard Donovan Jackson (ankle), were listed as non-participants.
