Friday's Injury Report

The Seahawks ruled out two players for Sunday's game against the Titans, receiver Tory Horton, who will miss a third straight game with a shin injury, and linebacker Tyrice Knight, who suffered a concussion in last weekend's game against the Rams.

Four players are listed as questionable, including left guard Grey Zabel, who left last week's game with a knee injury, linebacker Ernest Jones IV, who returned from a knee injury last weekend, and running back Kenneth Walker III, who is a new addition to the injury report with a glute injury. Also questionable is fullback Robbie Ouzts, who is listed with a non-injury/personal matter.

Walker, who was limited in practice, should be OK, Macdonald said, and was just getting some rest for precautionary reasons.

"We're just taking care of him today," Macdonald said. "I'd say it's precautionary. You never know, but I'd say it's precautionary. He should be fine.

"It's just maintenance on stuff that's a little sore, but he should be good."

Zabel, who was limited the last two days, will be a gameday decision, but whether or not the rookie guard plays this week, the fact that he's even close to playing is a positive development after he left last week's game with a knee injury.

"This guy's a tough cookie, man," Macdonald said. "It's awesome to have him back out there. It's a process, he's going to work all the way up to gametime, but he's confident, and it's great to have him out there."

If Zabel doesn't play, second-year guard Christian Haynes would start in his place.

"He's practicing hard, he's doing some good things," Macdonald said of Haynes, who finished last week's game at left guard in Zabel's place. "He's going to be ready to go if we need him."

Jones IV, who returned last week after a one-game absence due to a knee injury, is questionable because of that same injury.

"His knee, really from a couple weeks ago, just working through it," Macdonald said. "He hasn't reinjured anything or anything, he's just working through his knee."

Asked the likelihood of Jones playing, Macdonald answered only, "questionable."

On Ouzts, who returned to practice Friday after missing the previous two days due to a personal matter, Macdonald said, "Robbie had a personal matter early in the week, so he's missed some reps," Macdonald said. "His elbow is fine. We're working through some roster stuff on how it's all going to shake out, but that's what's going on with Robbie. He's back and he's with us, and we're getting him ready, as much as we can, to go play."

The Titans ruled out three players, including two starters, safety Xavier Woods (hamstring) and receiver Elic Ayomanor (hamstring), while three others are questionable.

Thursday's Injury Report

Rookie guard Grey Zabel returned to practice, as a limited participant, just four days after exiting the Seahawks Week 11 game with a knee injury. That doesn't guarantee Zabel will play on Sunday, but it is yet another encouraging sign that he avoided serious injury.

Receiver Tory Horton (shin), linebacker Tyrice Knight (concussion) remained out for a second straight day, as did fullback Robbie Ouzts, who is listed as a non-participant due to a personal matter.

Safety Coby Bryant (foot) went from limited Wednesday to full participation Thursday, as did defensive end Mike Morris (knee), while linebacker Ernest Jones IV (knee) was limited Thursday after being a full-participant Wednesday.

For the Titans, Pro-Bowl defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons (hamstring) improved to limited participation after not practicing a day earlier, as did cornerback Darrell Baker (knee) and guard Kevin Zeitler (back). Center Corey Levin was a new addition to the report, listed as limited with a neck injury.

Wednesday's Injury Report

The Seahawks kicked off their practice week with three players sidelined by injury, as head coach Mike Macdonald said would be the case prior to Wednesday's practice.

Guard Grey Zabel, who exited Sunday's game with a knee injury did not participate, nor did linebacker Tyrice Knight, who suffered a concussion on Sunday. Receiver Tory Horton, who missed the last two games with a shin injury, was also a non-participant.

Safety Coby Bryant was limited with a new foot injury and defensive end Mike Morris was limited with a knee injury, while three veterans were limited for non-injury/rest reasons: receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, defensive lineman Leonard Williams and outside linebacker DeMarcus Lawrence.

For the Titans, six players did not participate due to injury, including five who are listed as starters on the depth chart: WR Eric Ayomanor (hamstring), G Kevin Zeitler (back), CB Darrell Baker (concussion), DT Jeffery Simmons (hamstring) and safety Xavier Woods (hamstring).
