Wednesday's Injury Report

The Seahawks opened their practice week with what they refer to as an ACT (alignment, communication and technique) practice, meaning it was not a full speed practice, and therefore Wednesday's report was an estimation of participation.

And on a positive note, starting linebacker Ernest Jones IV was listed as a limited participant three days after exiting Sunday night's win in Washington with a knee injury.

"He's working through it," Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said. "He's going to be part of our walkthrough. We'll see how much he does in the actual ACT, so I'm sure he'll be listed as limited in some capacity today, then we'll see tomorrow. But he's in good spirits."

Receiver Cooper Kupp, who missed Sunday's game with a hamstring injury, was a non-participant, as were receiver Jake Bobo (calf), cornerback Josh Jobe (concussion) and receiver Dareke Young (quadricep).

On Kupp, Macdonald said, "He wanted to play; it was the best thing for him not to. The guy's a stud, he's going to do everything possible to play, and it's up to us to make the best decision for him and for the team."

One noteworthy name not on the injury report is Devon Witherspoon, who came out of the game healthy after returning from a knee injury.

"Spoon's feeling good," Macdonald said.

Tight end AJ Barner was a new addition to this week's report, listed as limited due to a calf injury. Also new are tight end Elijah Arroyo (elbow) and receiver Tory Horton (groin), though both were listed as full participants.

The Cardinals, who also held a walkthrough practice, had two players listed as non-participants due to injury—cornerback Max Melton (concussion) and linebacker Mack Wilson (ribs)—while eight were listed as limited.
