Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Thursday, February 6 – about your Seattle Seahawks:

(Belated) National Girls And Women In Sports Day

To no surprise, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson took to Twitter to present another heart-warming video. In this edition, Wilson and Ciara are standing at the epicenter of a group of young ladies that appear to be participating in an NFL Flag football game.

It's clear from the copy that Russ posted the video in celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, a national holiday recognized around the country.

Using context clues (yes, I'm talking about the abnormally large wolf in the background named K.C. Wolf) we can most likely assume that this interaction took place sometime before or after Super Bowl LIV in Miami.

The video starts off with Wilson calling together all of the women and sharing that he and Ciara have a deep appreciation for women's sports, highlighting that his younger sister plays college basketball at Stanford.

Wilson announces, "I have a great appreciation for ladies' and girls' sports, and everything that you're all doing. And Ciara and I are really passionate about the game of football, obviously, but also, women's sports and really trying to make you all go to the place you deserve to go."

The Seahawks quarterback recently announced that in efforts to help grow the game of football, Wilson will be taking on an official role as the Co-Owner and Chairman in NFL FLAG, an NFL licensed property of more than 1,600 locally operated leagues and over 500,000 youth athletes across all 50 states.

Special shout out to all of the girls and women out there in the wide world of sports. Happy (belated) National Girls and Women in Sports Day!
