After making a trade Tuesday to acquire All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson, the Seahawks waived guard Christian Haynes to make room on the 53-man roster.
Additionally, the Seahawks released tight end Josiah Deguara from the practice squad.
Haynes, a 2024 third-round pick out of Connecticut, has appeared in 31 games over the past three seasons, including five starts this season in place of an injured Anthony Bradford.
