The Seahawks signed nose tackle Roderick Perry II on Tuesday and also signed second-round pick Zach Charbonnet to his rookie deal. With Charbonnet signed, first-round pick Devon Witherspoon is the only one of Seattle's 10 picks not under contract a day before the start of training camp.

Outside linebacker Alton Robinson, cornerback James Campbell and cornerback Isaiah Dunn were waived, leaving Seattle with three open roster spots.

Perry, who is 6-foot-1, 304 pounds, went undrafted out of Illinois in 2022 and was signed by the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent. He spent most of his rookie season on Cleveland's practice squad, appearing in two regular-season games.

In two seasons at Illinois, Perry appeared in 17 games, starting 14, and recorded 43 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and 4.0 sacks. Perry was an All-Big Ten honorable mention pick by media and coaches in 2020, and by Pro Football Focus in 2021. Prior to Illinois, Perry played for South Carolina State, where in 2019 he recorded 14.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks, earning All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference second-team honors.

Seahawks players show off the brand new 90s throwback uniforms that will be worn when the Seahawks take on the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, October 29 at Lumen Field.
