The Seahawks elevated two players from their practice squad ahead of their Week 3 game against the Carolina Panthers, linebacker Jon Rhattigan and safety Teez Tabor.

Rhattigan, who is in his third season with the Seahawks, was also elevated for each of Seattle's first two games, playing a total of 31 special teams snaps. Because players can be elevated only three times during a season, Rhattigan would have to be signed to the 53-man roster in order to play after this week.

Tabor, who signed to Seattle's practice squad this week, gives the Seahawks added safety depth with starters Quandre Diggs and Julian Love both listed as questionable due to hamstring injuries.

While Tabor only recently signed this season, the former second-round pick is familiar with Seattle's defense, having spent most of last season on the team, appearing in 10 games with one start.

The Seahawks practice at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton, Wash. on Sept. 21, 2023.
