Thursday's matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams was a game for the books. In a game where Seattle trailed by 16 points with just over nine minutes left in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks rallied to get themselves into overtime.

Seattle's drive in overtime began at their own 35-yard line following a touchback. On that final drive, the Seahawks ran the ball three times and had 49 yards through the air, including a four-yard touchdown reception by Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

On the drive receiver Cooper Kupp had a 21-yard reception, hauling in a pass and managing to get two feet in bounds on the sideline, thanks to a toe drag.

Seattle had plays of two, five and five yards following the big reception. The next play was a Smith-Njigba touchdown. Seattle opted to try for a two-point conversion to take the win, 38-37. And it was an Eric Saubert catch that helped Seattle secure their spot in the playoffs.

Saubert said, "I knew I was late in the progression. Sam is amazing at going through his progression. He found me late, then I kind of blacked out after that, so I can't say any more after that."

On going for two, head coach Mike Macdonald said, "Then really particularly for this game because of the playoff situation," he said. "You know, do you play for the tie and lock up a playoff seed. I just felt great about our play and I trusted our guys. To Klint's credit, he was really confident and then the players ultimately make it happen. Once we got that drive going it was pretty clear what we were going to do."
