Four members of the Seahawks personnel department earned promotions heading into the 2023 season, including Nolan Teasley, who will now hold the title of assistant general manager, and Matt Berry, who is now the senior director of player personnel.
Aaron Hineline steps into Berry's former role as director of college scouting, while Willie Schneider will take over Teasley's former role of director of pro personnel.
Teasley first joined the Seahawks as a scouting intern in 2013—in part thanks to fellow Central Washington alum Hineline—then became a pro personnel scout in 2014. He later was promoted to assistant director of pro personnel, then director of pro personnel in 2018.
Berry, who joined the Seahawks as a southwest regional scout in 2008, became a national scout in 2014 before being named director of college scouting in 2015. He will continue to have a strong focus on college scouting while also being responsible for the pro scouting department as well.
Hineline, who previously served as assistant director of college scouting, began his career with the Seahawks as an intern 17 years ago. A Woodinville native, Hineline played college football at Central Washington.
Willie Schneider began his career with the Seahawks as an intern, working with the personnel department as well as the coaching staff, most recently held the title of assistant director of pro personnel before this promotion to director of pro personnel.
