GREEN BAY, Wis.—Seahawks receiver Jake Bobo was smiling and chatting with teammates in the visitor's locker room following Saturday night's preseason loss to the Packers, a welcome sight after a scary moment in the second quarter of the game.

Running up to field a short punt, Bobo slammed into the leg of teammate Tyler Hall, who was blocking on the play, leaving both players down on the ground with injuries. Bobo stayed down for several minutes while players and coaches kneeled on the field, then eventually was able to get up and walk to the locker room with what Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said was a concussion.

"Jake has a concussion," Macdonald said. "That's what he has right now. He's in good spirits. We'll start that protocol and go from there, but considering what it looked liked, I think we're fortunate that that's what we're dealing with at this point. That was scary."

Hall, meanwhile, injured his knee on the play, though the initial diagnosis is that he escaped serious injury.

"Tyler, he's got a knee," Macdonald said. "We don't think it's that serious. We think structurally it's OK. We'll image it and get all the information, but right now signs are positive long-term with Tyler."

In other injury news, guard Christian Haynes was held out of the game due to a pectoral injury sustained in Thursday's joint practice. Macdonald said they're still not sure of the severity of that injury.

"He's got a pec," Macdonald said. "It's not as serious as we thought, so we're kind of evaluating it right now to see what we're dealing with going into next week but we're not sure right now how long it's going to be."
