Featuring postgame quotes from the following:

Head Coach Mike Macdonald

On his team's performance

"Alright, I appreciate those still here. Look at the game. Obviously, (the game) didn't go in our favor. A lot of things that we're going to be able to improve on, but coming out of the game you're thinking about, hey, look at the week. I think it was a great week for our football team and organization. Look, it's not easy to pull these things off, to kind of move the organization across the country, being in Seattle and having to pop around and get around here in Green Bay. It's a big to-do. I appreciate our organization especially Jody (Allen), John (Schneider) and Chuck (Arnold), just making it happen and understanding how important it is for us. It was great for our team and I felt like we got a lot better and we got a great evaluation for our players. I just wanted to say thank you on that front. I thought the guys played hard today. There's a lot of good and there's a lot we're going to learn from. There's operations stuff, there's penalties, making quick decisions, being decisive, playing our style of ball that we'll learn from these things. I thought the guys played really hard and put a heck of a training camp together. They should be proud of themselves."

On WR Jake Bobo's status

"Jake has a concussion. He has a concussion. That's what he has right now. He's in good spirits. We'll start that protocol and go from there. Considering what it looked like, I think we're fortunate that's what we're dealing with. That was scary."

On CB Tyler Hall status

"He's got a knee (injury). We don't think it's that serious. We think structurally it's ok. So we'll image it and we'll get all the information. Right now the signs are positive long term with Tyler."

On C Jalen Sundell and evaluating him "Just keep chopping away man. Keep building the foundation. He's out there, he's playing his tail off. There's things that we're going to learn from. Taking care of the football is probably the number one thing and he knows that. We'll learn from it and grow from it. It was definitely worth it to get him out there and have this experience. He's definitely going to be able to build off this in the future."

On operationally getting in and out of huddles

"It's improved today. Andrew Janocko called the game on offensive, our quarterback coach. I thought he did a great job getting Jalen (Milroe) ready. I thought for the most part we operated alright. We weren't flirting with the play clock. We were getting in and out of plays, and getting from one play to another and do that type of stuff. We have to operate at an elite level to be a championship football team. We're not there yet with those guys and really as a football team. It's something we're still chasing. It's definitely improved."

On C Jalen Sundell possibly being the starter

"It was in case we needed a guy as an emergency in case something happened and we ran out of guys. We asked Olu (Oluwatimi) to stay dressed and stay ready."

On QB Jalen Milroe

"What's great about it is he didn't flinch. He had a couple of setbacks earlier and he kept fighting. He kept working away at it. Up until the very end we had a chance to get back into the game and give ourselves a chance to win it. We're fighting an uphill battle the whole game which is not how we want to play. Sometimes things are going to go your way and you've got to fight thru it."

On what he likes about QB Jalen Milroe's demeanor for that position

"I think that's important. I think it's really just you be you. Don't try to be anybody else. Be Jalen Milroe. We want Sam (Darnold) to be Sam. We want Drew (Lock) to be Drew. That's how you're going to get the best version of them. That's what I believe. That's good. The guy has played in big games before. He's played in some tough environments, some big time games at Alabama. It's nothing new to him."

On WR Cody White getting a chance

"I told him in golf when you play a scramble and you get your own eagle, that's what he had on that drive. Give him the opportunity and he makes plays. I'm happy for him. We've talked about for two years now. The guy worked extremely hard. He earned that today. That was really cool."

On the receiving corps and possibly not keeping six on the roster

"I think it's fair to say it's part of the

conversation. We haven't made any decisions yet, set in stone. I think because of the personnel groups we are

and the players that we have it's something we have to consider in the next few days."

On LB Jared Ivey making tackles

"I was nervous when he was down there for a minute. Happy that he's healthy. He went out there and played a lot of snaps and played hard. I thought all our guys on defense didn't flinch came out, thought we played better football in the second half, which has been a point of emphasis for us given the circumstances. We just go out there and play our style of ball, which I thought they did in the second half."

On S Ty Okada's interception

"That was a heck of a play. That was awesome. Going for the deep half, the guy throws the ball on the middle read, to be able to overlap in that area of the field, and make a one-handed grab. Great play all around. Great team defense on that play with the rush and coverage complimenting each other, but ultimately that was a phenomenal play."

On G Christian Haynes being ok?

"He's got a (pectoral). It's not as serious as we thought. We're kind of evaluating it right now to see what we're dealing with going into next week. We're not sure how long it's going to

be."

On if G Christian Haynes was injured in the joint practice

"I believe so, yes."

On there being anyone that took a jump this week that wasn't jumping earlier

"That's a good question. There's some guys that we wanted to have great competitive practice and show up and make plays and they did that. That was encouraging. It's hard to put in this amount of body of work with the amount of reps that we ask our guys to do and they have this whole body of work going in and suddenly they're a different person. We have a pretty good feel for what guys are capable of and what we expect of those guys. It was good to see in a different setting, challenging place to come in and play a really good football team and practice against those guys. It was good to see those guys make those type of plays."

On LB Drake Thomas

"I thought Drake has had a great camp. There is a poise to him in the defense. He is incredibly smart. He is kind of doing all the things at dime linebacker that we are going to ask our guys to do so it is really encouraging. He has done a great job."

On if there was anything they didn't get accomplished today that they wanted to this week

"Win the game. Look we got the whole practice in. I know we had the scuffles there, so to be able to come back and get that whole practice in was really important. It was a longer joint practice than you normally have. Normally these things are a little bit quicker and we ended up with a ton of plays. So, it was just great all around. Evaluating. Understanding where we can step on the gas systemically, declares who can do what and who we are going to be. So a lot of positives (from the week). We spent time with them. We had a team dinner. Just anytime you get a chance to get away. It was time for us to get out of Seattle, so it was a great opportunity for us."

QB Jalen Milroe

On playing the whole game

"What a dream come true to have my first start in an NFL game, no matter where it is, to be able to do so. I want to thank Coach Macdonald, the whole staff for allowing me to take my first start. It was just a great opportunity just to be on the field, especially here in Lambeau Field. What a historic venue. So it was just a good opportunity and it was a lot of fun to be out there, to be able to compete. So now it is all about building upon today as an offense and just keep on going."

On what he learned from the game

"No matter good, bad, or ugly, keep on going. Keep fighting. Keep being starving. Have an optimistic mindset as you approach the field, despite anything. Good, bad or different you have to be the same person each and every day. You have to keep on being encouraging on the sideline. You have to keep on having that hunger mentality as you approach every single rep that you have. As a quarterback everyone looks at you, so that's important as you build upon that, each rep, no matter where you are at on the field, you just have to keep on attacking. I apply the offense to that. So now as I reflect, we can build on it. Of course we know we aren't perfect on offense. We are going to be able to build upon it and I am excited to do that."

On if his even demeanor is important to him

"Yeah absolutely. Despite anything, where the game went, you have to be the same person. Are you the same person when you are at a high point? Are you the same person when you are at a low point? As a quarterback, you have to be consistent. No one should question how the quarterback is going to be, despite anything. Fumbles come, interceptions come, false starts. It doesn't matter. You have to keep on competing and keep on being starving and as a leader at the quarterback position youhave to keep on building. Nothing to be discouraged about; just keep on competing and keep on looking ahead."

On if the touchdown drive builds his confidence

"I am always confident. I am never going to lose my confidence despite anything. Despite any disappointment during the game or anything. You have to have confidence. That is the number one thing for any player to be successful. You have to be confident. Confident in their craft. Confident in how much they put into the game. So with that you can always grow, you can always have an opportunity mindset and just keep on building. I am going to do that as much as possible as we go forward."

On Cody White's performance on the touchdown drive

"Cody White is a competitor. What I appreciate about him is his hunger and how he always competes no matter where we are at during practice or when we are in Seattle or right now. He competed his tail off throughout the entire game and when an opportunity presented itself, he was there for me. When you have guys like that, that make your job easy for a quarterback. I appreciate him for how much he cares about me and also how much he wants to win and compete."

On his fumbles

"All on me. Everyone turnover from the quarterback position, you have to build on. You have to take care of the football. All of those are on me. I have to be better with ball security. You know it is tough when you're in the trenches. They are going to swat at the ball. Some big, strong dudes. They are heavier than me. You have to protect the ball. It happens, but that one play didn't lose the game. You have to keep on competing. You have to keep on building. That is part of the game. I am going to learn from that and grow from that."

On his biggest takeaway from this month

"The biggest thing I took from this month is just the preparation going into the week. All of the practice habits that you have is going to come out and shine when it comes to playing. Being around a lot of veterans in my room, you see what it takes to play the position. Also being around a lot of great knowledge with Coach Kubiak and Coach Janocko and the offensive staff helps me as a young player to keep on learning. The month has been great. It has been a great preseason for me to go against different NFL teams and to also have the opportunity to lead our guys. Now moving forward, it is all about building."

On if he expects opportunities to play in regular-season games

"I expect to be prepared whenever my opportunity presents itself. I don't know when that opportunity is going to present itself, but when it does, I am going to give my best week and also, I am going to be trusted when I go into the game. If I am in the game, it is because the coaching staff trusts me. It is going to come from my working habits, practice habits, the stuff that is done in the dark. It is going to come out to shine for sure. I know that better things are ahead. It ispreseason. You're not going to win the Super Bowl today. No team is going to win the Super Bowl today, and so I am just excited for the opportunity because there will be an opportunity for me to play. It is all about the season."

On if anything changes from preseason to regular season

"Nothing changes. I am going to keep on preparing. I know that the coaching staff is very confident in me. When you have a coaching staff like that, it makes you excited to go back to work. Nothing to be discouraged about. If you're discouraged, that means you're not a competitor. I love football. I love everything about it. The highs. The lows. The failures. The disappointments. You have to love football. It is part of the game. It was my first start man. It is a great opportunity to build upon it. I am just excited to keep on competing and keep on getting better."

On if he always gets up at 4:30 a.m.

"Always, man. I'm up. Because the biggest thing as a quarterback is that you have to be trusted. With that it is all about working on your craft so that you can be prepared to lead the guys. You have to have a singular focus for each and every rep that you have at the position. You have to be dialed in. So it is the work that you do in the dark, whether that is physically running, getting up, stretching, yoga. Whether it is a VR system or meeting extra with my coaches. I am going to continue to do that no matter what. That is just something that I like to do and I know that building my craft is going to allow me to be the quarterback I want to be."

On how Virtual Reality is helping him

"It is beneficial. You have those extra reps that you may not get at practice. You are on your timing. You build a schedule to keep on working. These are reps where you are getting the physical reps at practice, but also building upon that by doing that. So it has been great for me. It has been awesome to have that resource here in Seattle and so I am going to continue using it moving forward."

On the WR Jake Bobo injury scare

"12 is 1 is our motto as a group and that comes into life when it comes to any player on our team getting hurt. All we want to do is ensure that Bobo is okay, that all our of teammates are okay. It is a dangerous sport for sure, so that is the biggest thing I want to do is check up on him and ensure that he is okay. When you go into a game the biggest mission is everyone coming out head up high and healthy. It definitely affects me, having to play that one down (after the injury). We are definitely 12 as 1 and I am definitely going to check up on him."

On how his parents' military background has influenced him

"Detail-oriented, working as a group, having a single focus, being driven by goals. So many things that I learned from my parents. There's a lot of things I can say about my parents. But those were things that were instilled in me so when it comes to playing football there are a lot of similarities when it comes to their background and how much they poured into me. They show what right looks like as being parents. I definitely love and appreciate them. Despite anything, disappointment, failure, smiles, those are the first people I want to greet when I am around them. Those are people that I love and appreciate and when you talk about unconditional love, I have that with my parents."
