After scoring a touchdown in the Seahawks' Week 17 win over the 49ers, Alex Collins will again get a chance to help the team at running back this weekend, having been elevated from the practice squad a day before Seattle's Wild Card game against the Los Angeles Rams.

The move gives the Seahawks more depth a running back with Rashaad Penny being a late addition to the injury report, listed as questionable with a knee injury.

Collins saw most of his playing time come late in last week's game after Penny, who recently returned from injured reserve, left the game with cramps, and rushed for 29 yards on five carries, including an 8-yard touchdown run that helped seal the victory.

Collins, who signed to Seattle's practice squad earlier this season, appeared in three regular season games, rushing for 77 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries.
