MockDraftTracker1.0 - 2026

With the NFL Scouting Combine underway in Indianapolis, draft season is fully underway, which means it's time to start our weekly look at who the experts are predicting the Seahawks could select in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Thanks to their Super Bowl win over the Patriots, the Seahawks will have the 32nd pick in the first round, and picks No. 64 and 96 in Rounds 2 and 3, respectively. The Seahawks currently have only four total picks, the aforementioned picks in the first three rounds, as well as Cleveland's sixth-rounder, which they received in a 2024 trade that sent center Nick Harris and seventh-round pick to the Browns. The Seahawks traded their fourth and fifth-round picks to the Saints in exchange for receiver and return specialist Rashid Shaheed, while Seattle's original sixth-round pick went to Jacksonville in 2024 in exchange for defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris.

Here is a look at the current first-round draft order:

Cooper Kupp will turn 33 this summer, and Rashid Shaheed is set to enter free agency. So the Seahawks look for depth at receiver here, grabbing a big-bodied pass catcher in Boston. The former Husky has good hands and incredible body control to go up high and grab passes in traffic. He's a perfect complement to Jaxon Smith-Njigba for the long term.

Bucky Brooks, NFL.com

The Seahawks' success with a deep pass-rush rotation could result in another bona fide QB hunter hitting the roster. Howell's slick pass-rushing maneuvers and non-stop motor make him a fine fit with a Seattle defense that outworks opponents on the edges.

Let's close out Round 1 with a talented cornerback to replace free agents Riq Woolen and Josh Jobe, giving this Super Bowl champion defense yet another playmaker. The brother of A.J. Terrell Jr., Avieon Terrell can fly in coverage, and he had 27 pass breakups over three seasons. He could slide into the lineup opposite Devon Witherspoon, with Nick Emmanwori in the slot.

Fresh off their suffocating performance in the Super Bowl, the reigning champs add a rangy safety who can extend Toledo’s strong recent NFL track record and be another wild card in Mike Macdonald's defense. With safety Coby Bryant hitting unrestricted free agency, McNeil-Warren can step in and be a back-end force who can play anywhere and everywhere, making life for the opposing quarterback even more of a living hell. — Chris Kamrani

Seattle finds insurance for Rashid Shaheed, who could depart in free agency. Concepcion brings speed on offense and is a dynamic returner who took two punts back for touchdowns in 2025.

Garrett Podell, CBSSports.com

Several defensive backs from the Seahawks' "Dark Side" defense are set to hit free agency, including Tariq Woolen, Josh Jobe and Coby Bryant. The Super Bowl champions may be able to retain all three, but their cap space will be tight with several key players due new deals after their title run. Cisse has ideal NFL size for a cornerback, along with the speed and agility to match. He trusts his vision and top-tier closing speed to shrink throwing windows and make plays on the ball. He can be more physical in press-man coverage and more consistent against the run, but Cisse would land with the perfect coach to help him develop in Mike Macdonald.

Luke Easterling, Athlonsports.com

It seems unfair to give this defense any more help after what they did to most of their opponents last season, but that's exactly what happens in this scenario. Hunter is a dominant force along the interior who can power through double-team blocks and shut down the ground game, and he can push the pocket as a pass rusher. Lining him up next to Byron Murphy II would be a nightmare for opposing offenses.

The Seahawks appear to be on the verge of losing their cornerbacks in free agency, so GM John Schneider works to get younger at the position.

Dalton Wasserman, Pro Football Focus

Multiple Seattle cornerbacks, including Tariq Woolen and Josh Jobe, are entering free agency this offseason. That could be a position for the Seahawks to address early in the draft with someone like Arizona State's Keith Abney II, who earned a career-high 85.3 PFF coverage grade while breaking up nine passes in 2025.
