Taking a look at what the experts think the Seahawks may do in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Seahawks Mock Draft Tracker 9.0

The 2026 NFL Draft, which will take place in Pittsburgh on April 23-25, and starts Thursday. Thanks to their Super Bowl win over the Patriots, the Seahawks will have the 32nd pick in the first round, and picks No. 64 and 96 in Rounds 2 and 3, respectively. The Seahawks currently have only four total picks, the aforementioned picks in the first three rounds, as well as Cleveland's sixth-rounder (No. 188), which they received in a 2024 trade that sent center Nick Harris and a seventh-round pick to the Browns. The Seahawks traded their fourth and fifth-round picks to the Saints in exchange for receiver and return specialist Rashid Shaheed, while Seattle's original sixth-round pick went to Jacksonville in 2024 in exchange for defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris.

This week, general manager/president of football operations John Schneider said the Seahawks are looking to trade back.

"It's the pick that everybody wants," he said. "A. You're blessed enough to win the Super Bowl, right? And the fifth-year option right there. It's no secret with us, we have four picks, so we'll be looking to move back."

With all of that in mind, here is one final mock draft tracker before the NFL Draft kicks off.

Here is a look at the current first-round draft order:

  1. Las Vegas Raiders
  2. New York Jets
  3. Arizona Cardinals
  4. Tennessee Titans
  5. New York Giants
  6. Cleveland Browns
  7. Washington Commanders
  8. New Orleans Saints
  9. Kansas City Chiefs
  10. Cincinnati Bengals
  11. Miami Dolphins
  12. Dallas Cowboys
  13. Los Angeles Rams (from Falcons)
  14. Baltimore Ravens
  15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  16. New York Jets (from Colts)
  17. Detroit Lions
  18. Minnesota Vikings
  19. Carolina Panthers
  20. Dallas Cowboys (from Packers)
  21. Pittsburgh Steelers
  22. Los Angeles Chargers
  23. Philadelphia Eagles
  24. Cleveland Browns (from Jaguars)
  25. Chicago Bears
  26. Buffalo Bills
  27. San Francisco 49ers
  28. Houston Texans
  29. Kansas City Chiefs (from Rams)
  30. Miami Dolphins (from Broncos)
  31. New England Patriots
  32. Seattle Seahawks

Pick: Jadarian Price, RB, Notre Dame

"As a compact, fast and physical rusher with excellent vision and open-field running skills, Price is the kind of multi-faceted playmaker the Seahawks covet in a feature back.

Pick: Kayden McDonald, DT, Ohio State

"The Seahawks won the Super Bowl behind one of the league's best defensive fronts. Even though they're bringing everyone back, there's no harm in making a strong position group even stronger. Because Seattle doesn't have an urgent need at the position, McDonald, a stout run defender with pass-rush upside, would be able to learn from veterans like Leonard Williams and Jarran Reed before stepping into a bigger role down the line."

Trade: Arizona Cardinals: QB Ty Simpson, Alabama

Seahawks get: No. 34 and No. 183

Cardinals get: No. 32

"I took you all the way to the last pick of the mock draft, but yes, I have Simpson going in Round 1. To move back two spots, the Seahawks would happily add a sixth-round pick in a year when they have only four total selections. And the Cardinals would happily give up that late-rounder to (a) get Simpson and (b) get him with a fifth-year option. Simpson is slated to be in the green room at the draft, and though it might be a long night, I think he will come off the board on Day 1."

Pick: Josiah Trotter, linebacker, Missouri

Pick: Jadarian Price, RB, Notre Dame

"John Schneider told the media he hopes to move back -- no surprise, with Seattle holding a league-low four picks -- but Price makes sense at No. 32, whether the selection is made by the RB-hungry 'Hawks or another team looking to add a talented runner."

Pick: Jadarian Price, RB, Notre Dame

"Seattle has been a patient bystander in the running back market, which may be a sign that they are willing to take a player at the position in the first round. Jadarian Price may have more untapped potential on third down after taking the back seat to Jeremiyah Love at Notre Dame."

Pick: Jadarian Price, RB, Notre Dame

"The Seahawks close out the final mock draft of the year by adding another tough defensive back to their defense. Tariq Woolen is off to Philadelphia and while they re-signed Josh Jobe to a small extension, adding another premium resource to that room is never a bad idea. Like his brother A.J. who plays for the Falcons, Avieon isn't the most explosive athlete, but he's physical with clean movement skills. He's a great add for a secondary that already has someone like Devon Witherspoon and would be a clean fit in Mike Macdonald's defense."

Trade: No. 34: Jadarian Price, RB, Notre Dame

"If the Seahawks trade down this year, it makes sense to do so with their first pick, as it yields the greatest return. Interest will be high in that final pick of the first round as it comes with the team-friendly option of a fifth year on a rookie contract, whereas the league mandates that all players selected in the second to seventh rounds can only receive a four-year deal.

Schneider spoke specifically during Seattle's pre-draft press conference about the idea of trading with divisional rivals – including those seeking quarterbacks – and he acknowledged that the club was open to it. I think it would make a lot of sense for the Arizona Cardinals to jump up two spots from No. 34 to No. 32 to select Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson, a clean fit in their new head coach Mike LaFleur's offense. By doing so the Cardinals would hold the rights to Simpson for a fifth year and Arizona would be leapfrogging the New York Jets, another team in need of a young signal-caller to build around. The Seahawks could realistically expect Arizona's fifth round pick – No. 143 overall – in return and still select Price, a player I believe they might be strongly considering in the first round.

Price wasn't featured at Notre Dame because the Irish also had one of the elite talents of this draft class in Jeremiyah Love at running back. That limited Price's opportunities, but it also limited the number of hits he absorbed.

The tape doesn't lie – Price possesses the vision, burst, balance and soft hands to project as a front-line NFL starter."
