Friday's Injury Report

The Seahawks will have starting left tackle Charles Cross when they host the Rams in the NFC championship game. Cross, who left last week's win over the 49ers with a foot injury, did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday but was a full participant on Friday, and does not have a game status on the final injury report of the week, meaning he is good to go.

"Charles practiced today," Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said. "He's getting better, but he should be able to play."

Fellow tackle Josh Jones, meanwhile, was also a full participant in Friday's practice and is questionable due to a knee injury that kept him out of last weekend's game. Amari Kight, who finished the game for Cross, is listed as doubtful due to a knee injury he suffered in that game.

Quarterback Sam Darnold was limited in practice all week due to an oblique injury, but does not have a game status.

"He did great," Macdonald said. "Everything's going to plan, let's put it that way. He's going to play, and we'll take it day by day."

The Seahawks activated running back George Holani and tight end Elijah Arroyo from injured reserve earlier in the day and neither has a game status, indicating they're ready to play, linebacker Chazz Surratt, who also returned to practice from IR recently, has been ruled out, meaning he will not be activated.

In addition to Jones and Kight, the only other player on the 53-man roster with a game status is fullback Robbie Ouzts, who is questionable with a neck injury.

For the Rams, outside linebacker Byron Young is listed as questionable, but Rams coach Sean McVay told reporters in Los Angeles that they're expecting Young will be able to play. Tackle Rob Havenstein, who returned to practice this week, is listed as out, meaning he will not be activated from injured reserve

Thursday's Injury Report

The Seahawks practiced for a second straight day without starting left tackle Charles Cross, who has a foot injury, as well as reserve tackles Josh Jones (knee, ankle) and Amari Kight (knee).

The good news, however, is that Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald expressed optimism about Cross playing in Sunday's NFC championship game.

"Charles is good," Macdonald said. "We'll see how today goes. But we're optimistic for the game. But just working through his foot."

Macdonald described Jones, who missed last weekend's game with a knee injury, and Kight, who finished the game in place of Cross, are both day-to-day.

Quarterback Sam Darnold was limited for a second straight day due to his oblique injury, as Macdonald said would likely be the case all week.

"In terms of the plan, we're still on the plan," Macdonald said. "I wasn't part of the offensive walkthrough just now, but they said it went really well, and feeling good."

Also limited in practice were fullback Robbie Ouzts (neck) and guar Bryce Cabeldue, while outside linebacker Uchenna Nwosu (hamstring) went from limited on Wednesday to full participation on Thursday.

Running back George Holani, who returned to practice this week from injured reserve, was again a full participant, giving him a chance to return this week with the Seahawks having lost running back Zach Charbonnet to a knee injury.

"George did a good job," Macdonald said. "Doing a great job."

For the Rams, safety Quentin Lake was a full participant after missing Wednesday's practice due to illness. Outside linebacker Bryce Young did not practice for the second day in a row due to a knee injury, while cornerback Emmanuel Forbes (shoulder) was limited for the second straight day. Tackle Rob Havenstein, who has been on injured reserve with an ankle injury, returned to practice Thursday and was listed as limited.

Wednesday's Injury Report

The Seahawks opened their week of preparation for the NFC championship game on Wednesday, and as head coach Mike Macdonald said would be the case, quarterback Sam Darnold was a limited participant due to the oblique injury he suffered in practice last week. Darnold said he's "feeling really good" coming out of Saturday's win over the 49ers, but Macdonald said the plan this week will be to manage his reps.

Darnold was one of four players limited due to injury along with outside linebacker Uchenna Nwosu (hamstring), fullback Robbie Ouzts (neck) and guard Bryce Cabeldue (knee).

Three players did not practice due to injury, all of them offensive tackles, starting left tackle Charles Cross (foot), Josh Jones (knee/ankle) and Amari Kight (knee). Cross returned from a three-game absence to start Saturday's divisional round game, but exited in the second half with a foot injury, though Macdonald said after the game that it was somewhat of a precautionary move with the Seahawks leading by a large margin. Jones, who had started the previous three games in place of an injured Cross, was inactive for Saturday's game due to a knee injury, so Kight took over at left tackle and finished the game in Cross' place.

For the Rams, safety Quentin Lake did not practice due to illness, while outside linebacker Byron Young was a non-participant due to a knee injury. Cornerback Emmanuel Forbes was limited in practice due to a shoulder injury.
