After playing through an oblique injury in the Seahawks' divisional round win over the 49ers, quarterback Sam Darnold said he's feeling good as his team starts its practice week ahead of the NFC championship game against the Rams.

"I felt good," Darnold said when asked about how he felt coming out of Saturday's game. "Feeling really good, just attacking rehab these last couple of days, obviously will be throughout the week. I've just to continue to prepare and get my body right for Sunday."

Darnold's injury, which occurred in practice last Thursday, limited him in practice the rest of the week and caused him to be listed as questionable for the game, but he was able to start and put together a strong performance, completing 12 of 17 attempts for 124 yards, one touchdown and no turnovers, giving him a 110.9 passer rating.

And while Darnold continues to improve, the Seahawks will manage his workload in practice this week.

"Sam continues to get better," Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said. "He's not going to be a full go the whole week. We have a plan, we're going to work through it, see how the day goes, then we'll kind of take it day-by-day. But he won't be throwing every ball, every play, for a whole week."

In other injury news, Macdonald said the status on left tackle Charles Cross, who has a foot injury, has not yet been determined.

"Charles did walk(through), we're kind of working it through with Charles right now, so we'll see how it plays out the rest of the day," Macdonald said when asked if Cross would practice.

Macdonald said that running back George Holani, who was designated for return to practice this week, does have a chance to be ready to play this weekend after spending the last eight weeks on injured reserve.

"George is in great shape, he's been working his tail off," Macdonald said. "We're excited to get him out there. I haven't seen him practice for a minute, so it'll be fun."

The Seahawks and Rams face off for the third time in the 2025 season for the NFC Championship Game on January 25. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. PT. Take a look back through history at the Seahawks' matchups against the Rams.
