Friday's Injury Report

The Seahawks will be welcoming back a couple of key defensive players when they play the Commanders on Sunday night. Cornerback Devon Witherspoon, who has missed five of the last six games with a knee injury, practiced fully all week and does not have a game status designation, meaning he is ready to play. Also set to return Sunday is outside linebacker Derick Hall, who missed the previous two games with an oblique injury.

Rookie fullback Robbie Ouzts is also expected to play, Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said, marking his return after missing four games on injured reserve due to an ankle injury. The Seahawks will have to make a roster move to get Ouzts back on the 53-man roster in order for him to play on Sunday.

"Robbie will be back, yeah," Macdonald said.

Two starters, meanwhile, are questionable due to injuries, defensive tackle Jarran Reed (wrist) and receiver Cooper Kupp (heel/hamstring).

Kupp came into the week with a heel injury but still practiced fully on Wednesday, but he injured his hamstring on Thursday, causing him to be limited that day and a non-participant on Friday.

Receiver Jake Bobo, meanwhile, is out with an Achilles injury that happened on Thursday, though Macdonald clarified that it was not a ruptured Achilles tendon. Also ruled out are safety Julian Love (hamstring), tight end Eric Saubert (calf) and receiver Dareke Young (quadricep), as well as guard Christian Haynes, who returned to practice this week from injured reserve.

"Coop and Bobo just happened in practice," Macdonald said. "It's unfortunate. We'll see with Coop, and hopefully those guys will be back soon, and we'll get some guys ready to go to have a great opportunity in front of them."

Asked if Julian Love or other players ruled out will need to be placed on injured reserve, Macdonald said, "We have not made that decision yet."

For the Commanders, quarterback Jayden Daniels, who missed last week's game with a hamstring injury, does not have a game status designation, indicating he is good to go and is expected to start. Receiver Terry McLaurin (quadricep) and tight end Colson Yankoff (hamstring) have both been ruled out, while three players are questionable, including starting left tackle Laremy Tunsil, who injured his hamstring last week.
