Wednesday Round-Up: PFF Rates Three Seahawks With Highest Passer Rating When Targeted 20+ Yards Downfield

Pro Football Focus tweeted out a motion graphic listing receivers Tyler Lockett, David Moore, and Seahawks Legend Doug Baldwin as having the highest passer rating when targeted 20+ yards downfield.

Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Wednesday, July 24 – about your Seattle Seahawks:

Deep Dimes Downfield

First, second, and third. Those are the rankings that our current and former receivers were placed in when measuring the highest passer rating when targeted 20+ yards downfield. Pro Football Focus tweeted out a motion graphic a few days ago that illustrated three of our very own leading the pack when targeted at that level downfield.

Seahawks wide receivers Tyler Lockett and David Moore are both listed at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, in the statistic. To complete the Seahawks' contribution to the list, former receiver and Seahawks Legend Doug Baldwin lands at No. 3.

This statistic was calculated using data from the 2018 season for receivers recording a minimum of 15 targets. The stat may come as no surprise, as I'm sure everyone can remember some deep balls thrown to all three of these wideouts.
