Tuesday Round-Up: Russell Wilson Offseason Training In Mexico

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has spent some of his time in the offseason training down in Mexico.

Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Tuesday, February 12 – about your Seattle Seahawks:

South Of The Border

If you follow Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson on social media, you'll notice that he's spent his offseason getting involved in a multitude of activities. Wilson attended Super Bowl LIII, played in the 2019 Pro Bowl, he's featured in commercials for both Uber and Wilson Sporting Goods, and he even got slimed with a few other NFL stars in a Nickelodeon special, Double Dare at Super Bowl.

Throughout all of these one-off events, Wilson has appeared to spend a lot of his time in Mexico training. He posted an Instagram yesterday with the location tag, "Mexico," that features a short video montage of a few different workouts. The copy reads, "From the Ground…Up… that's where Greatness begins. 🏋️‍♂️ : @deckerdavis_fit." Decker Davis is the personal trainer of Russell and Ciara who is employed by West2East Empire, Wilson's brand management company.

An earlier Instagram post from January 16 featured Wilson training in what looks to be like the same location in Mexico. The copy from this post read, "No game this week. But we still got practice #NoTime2Sleep."

Based on what we've seen so far, the seven-year Seahawks veteran doesn't seem to be slowing down his strength training and conditioning off the field. Wilson isn't one to waste any time in the offseason.

Social Post Of The Day

Today's 'Social Post of the Day' comes from Seahawks linebacker Shaquem Griffin, as he attends a party in Atlanta with Delta, the official airline of the Seattle Seahawks.
