Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Tuesday, May 14 – about your Seattle Seahawks:

Home Sweet Home

Just when you felt pretty good about that bottle of white wine you gifted your mom for Mother's Day or the spa day you sent her out on to get out of the house, Russell Wilson really out-topped us all. The Seahawks quarterback shocked the internet on Sunday when he posted a couple of videos on Instagram surprising his mother Tammy with a new home. Little did the Virginia native know that the home she was walking up to belonged to her.

The video opens with Wilson handing his mom a key. The look on her face is absolutely priceless as she turns to the camera with straight confusion, then quickly back at the rest of the family present. Russell so nonchalantly says, "It's the key to your house," before Tammy erupts in utter disbelief that she is standing at the foot of her new residence.

QB1's big Mother's Day surprise quickly went viral after hitting Instagram on Sunday. ESPN picked it up the following day via Twitter, as did Bleacher Report, ABC News, Complex, and plenty of smaller news outlets. Tammy's reaction is too perfect to keep you from watching it over and over again. Even the Today Show covered it on Tuesday morning.

Shout out to Wilson for surprising his mother with one heck of a Mother's Day gift. It'll be a tough one to beat for next year!

Social Post Of The Day
