Good morning, 12s. Here's a look at what's out there today — Tuesday, December 12 — about your Seattle Seahawks.

Linebacker Jordyn Brooks continues standout season less than a year after a torn ACL.

Seattle linebacker Jordyn Brooks' 2022 season didn’t end on his terms, as he tore his ACL in Week 17 against the New York Jets. After a remarkable comeback to return to the field in 2023 less than eight months after surgery, Brooks is playing the best football of his career, and on Sunday he eclipsed the 100-tackle mark for the third consecutive season.

Brooks' passion for the game has been evident throughout the Seahawks' 2023 campaign - from his determination to return to the field for the season opener to his fiery play through Week 14. In Seattle's Week 14 28-16 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Brooks notched six tackles, surpassing 100 on the year. Thus far, Brooks has totaled 102 tackles, 4.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss, one interception, one forced fumble, one recovery and a touchdown. Of the 20 players league-wide to accumulate 100 tackles through 14 weeks, Brooks is the only linebacker with four or more sacks.

Seattle prepares to face the Philadelphia Eagles next week on Monday Night Football for a chance to keep their playoff hopes alive. After overcoming several injuries, Brooks continues a season that deserves praise.
