Good morning, 12s. Here's a look at what's happening today – Tuesday, Aug. 4 – for your Seattle Seahawks.

Seahawks interviews on Q13 Fox begin with DK Metcalf

Over the next week, five Seahawks players will join Q13 Fox for exclusive one-on-one interviews. First up was DK Metcalf, the Seahawks' standout second-year receiver.

Q13 Fox's Aaron Levine started with a question about Metcalf's biggest concerns entering training camp amidst a global pandemic. Levine didn't necessarily get the answer he was looking for, but the response should excite Seahawks fans.

"Whoever gotta guard me," Metcalf said of his biggest concern for training camp. "I've been working since February, March, so I've been anxious and itching just to get back on the field."

Last season as a rookie, Metcalf had 58 receptions for 900 yards and seven touchdowns. Seattle saw how great Metcalf was all season, but he arrived on the national scene in the NFC Wild Card Game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Metcalf had two touchdowns and a playoff rookie record 160 receiving yards in the win.

Metcalf also discussed social justice issues, the biggest thing he learned from his rookie season and his special connection with Russell Wilson. Wilson and Metcalf have been working out together this offseason and Metcalf said they "connected on a personal level."

Perhaps the best story of the interview was Metcalf explaining how he met Marshawn Lynch. The two were supposed to be lockermates, but Bobby Wagner moved Lynch's stuff next to his locker instead. Metcalf didn't know what happened, so when he saw Lynch for the first time, he just stared at him without realizing it. Lynch of course had a funny response, and they connected immediately.

K.J. Wright's full interview with Q13 Fox will air today, with Tyler Lockett (Wednesday), Bruce Irvin (Thursday) and Greg Olsen (Monday) to follow.

Nate Burleson predicts Russell Wilson will win first MVP in 2020

Nate Burleson never played with Russell Wilson, but he still recognizes Wilson's greatness. Burleson, a Seahawk from 2006 through 2009, now stars on NFL Network's "Good Morning Football." On Monday's show, he revealed his lofty expectations for Wilson in 2020.

After NFL players voted Wilson the No. 2 player in the league, it wouldn't be a shock to see him win MVP this season.

It's unbelievable that Wilson still hasn't received a single MVP vote in his eight-year career. Since entering the league in 2012, Wilson is fifth among quarterbacks in passing touchdowns, sixth in quarterback rating and first in game-winning drives.

Social Post Of The Day

Players were officially on the practice field together for the first time on Monday. Not surprisingly, it looks like Bobby Wagner didn't miss any workouts during quarantine.
