The Seattle Seahawks teamed up with Bloodworks Northwest to put on a blood drive in an effort to encourage people to donate.

Donating Blood is a safe action.

Are you a healthy individual looking for a way to help out your community in this time of need? Look no further as Bloodworks Northwest is currently accepting appointments to donate blood at any of their donation locations.

On Wednesday afternoon, a handful of Seahawks staff members joined by Seahawks Dancers Erika and Jon, visited Bloodworks' Bellevue location to donate blood and encourage people to come donate.

A lot of folks are sitting at home during these strange times wondering how they can lend a helping hand in the community. Bloodworks Northwest wants you to know that their centers are totally safe as they have put the proper precautions in place for you to come donate blood in peace. It's a great opportunity to get out of the house and help out your community.
