Thursday Round-Up: Seahawks Dominate ESPN's NFC West All-Decade Team

ESPN.com put together an NFC West All-Decade Team, and the Seahawks were very well represented.

ROUNDUOP

Good afternoon, 12s.

Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Thursday, June 18 – about your Seattle Seahawks:

Twelve Current Or Former Seahawks Players & Pete Carroll Named To ESPN's NFC West All-Decade Team

ESPN.com's four NFC West writers, including Seahawks beat reporter Brady Henderson, assembled an NFC West All-Decade Team this week, and it comes as no surprise that the Seahawks were very well represented on the team. The Seahawks won four NFC West titles over the last decade under Pete Carroll and John Schneider, earned eight playoff berths and played in two Super Bowls, so Carroll was the no-brainer choice as the All-Decade coach.

Joining Carroll on the NFC West All-Decade Team were Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, running back Marshawn Lynch, receiver Doug Baldwin, center Max Unger, tackle Russell Okung, linebacker Bobby Wagner, cornerback Richard Sherman, safety Earl Thomas, safety Kam Chancellor, kick/punt returner Tyler Lockett and kicker Stephen Hauschka. Current Seahawks guard Mike Iupati was also selected, though it's worth noting that he spent most of the 2010s playing for the 49ers and Cardinals before signing with Seattle in 2019.

Wilson, not surprisingly, was the Seahawks' nominee for NFC West Player of the Decade. You can check out the full NFC West All-Decade Team here and vote for player of the decade here.
