Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Thursday, May 2 – about your Seattle Seahawks:

Doug Baldwin Family Combine

Have you been feeling competitive lately? Ever wanted to challenge your family members to compete in the same combine drills as the NFL draftees? Your opportunity to do so is right around the corner as Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin will be hosting his third annual Doug Baldwin Family Combine on June 23 at Renton Memorial Stadium.

The event is open to participants of all ages as they will "test their skills in this interactive and family-friendly event," says the event’s website. "Run the 40-yard dash, catch passes, hit the tackling dummy, test your jumping skills and more." More details on the specific events at the family combine are listed out here, complemented by a map of where everything will be taking place inside of Renton Memorial Stadium.

At the root of the annual event, Baldwin has partnered with the City of Renton, Renton School District, and HealthPoint to build a state-of-the-art community center in the Cascade/Benson neighborhood. Proceeds from the event will go towards the construction of the new community center.

"Community centers not only provide athletic and educational activities, they are the building blocks for character building opportunities. These opportunities are being denied to many of the youth today especially in the Cascade/Benson area," said Baldwin.

Registration for the event is $30 per participant and $5 for spectators. The day is split into three waves in order to spread out the participants throughout the day. If you're interested, you can register here.

Social Post Of The Day

Today's 'Social Post of the Day' comes Ciara, the wife of Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, who tweeted a photo of the family at the Billboard Music Awards. It appears as if Wilson surprised Ciara with his unexpected attendance.

Bob Condotta at The Seattle Times takes his shot at what the 53-man roster could look like now that the 2019 NFL Draft is over.

Partnering with the City of Renton and the Renton School District, Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin hosted a family combine this past weekend to support bringing a community center to Renton that will allow area children to enjoy some of the same positive experiences that he had when he was a child at the Southern Youth Sports Association in Pensacola, Florida.
