The Seahawks waived running back Myles Gaskin on Tuesday, opening a spot on their 53-man roster.

Additionally, outside linebacker Ja'Markis Weston was signed to the practice squad and receiver Brenden Rice and center Doug Kramer were released from the practice squad.

Gaskin, who signed to Seattle's practice squad earlier this season, was signed to the 53-man roster last weekend ahead of Sunday's win over the Vikings. The former O'Dea High School and University of Washington standout made his Seahawks debut in that game, and had three carries for six yards on Seattle's final possession.

Weston, an undrafted rookie out of Florida, initially signed with the Jets after the draft, and after opening the season on injured reserve, made his debut in October, appearing in three games, making two tackles on special teams. Weston was waived by the Jets on November 22.
