The Seahawks signed linebacker Ezekiel Tunner to their practice squad, adding a seventh-year veteran who was a special teams standout during his seven seasons with the Cardinals.
Rookie linebacker Devin Richardson, who signed to the practice squad last week, was released to make room for Turner.
Undrafted out of the University of Washington in 2018, Turner signed with the Cardinals and established himself as a top special teams player. Turner led the league with 13 solo tackles on special teams and 15 total tackles, earning PFWA All-Rookie Team honors for his play on special teams. In addition to his 83 career tackles in 81 games played, Turner also has two career blocked punts.
After seven seasons in Arizona, Turner signed with the 49ers in March, then was released during training camp. He most recently spent time on Houston's practices quad before being released last week.
