All the Seahawks news you might have missed from the Seattle’s win.

09-26-25 Seahawks Round Up

Good afternoon, 12s. Here's a look at what's going on out there and any news you might have missed, about your Seattle Seahawks.

Seahawks Road Win Against Divisional Opponent Arizona Cardinals

The Seahawks came up with a win in the desert on Thursday night to move to 3-1 and secure their third straight win. The win came down to a 52-yard field goal by Jason Myers, who knocked it down to secure the 23-20 victory.

After the game, head coach Mike Macdonald said, It's a great win. I'm just really proud of our team, how hard we're playing, how we're sticking together, the positivity, (and) the fight. Just a really great win. It's a short week, you're on the road, (and) Arizona played a good game… that's a good football team we played, we know that. They did a good job of staying in the game and giving themselves a chance to win. Having said that, we didn't play our best game, and we had opportunities to put the game away throughout the second half. There are a lot of learning experiences that we're going to be able to take from this game so we can improve. The good news is we figured out a way to win the game, which after Week 1… we felt like we had an opportunity to win that game and we didn't figure it out. I feel like our team's growing, we're getting better, just really proud of our guys in the fight and the effort this week to get ready to go play their best football. It'll be good to have a break and then hit the ground running on Monday and get ready for Tampa Bay."

Here's what the media is saying about the win:

2025 Game Changers presented by BECU Launch the First Session

The Seahawks launched their Game Changers program presented by BECU with the Boys & Girls Club of King County! Over the next six weeks, students will dive into the RISE curriculum—building skills in emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, the power of community, and more.

During the first session, the students got a tour of Lumen Field, visiting the press box, the Toyota Fan Deck, the locker room and got a chance to go down to the field.

Week 3 Coaches of the Week

Our Week 3 coach of the week winners are head coach Eric Berg of East Valley (Yakima) High School (2A) and head coach Clark Pauls of Wellpinit High School (1B). Each coach will be invited to a Seahawks game later this season to be recognized for their accomplishments and will receive a $500 donation to their football program!

Eric Berg is in his 10th season as the head coach of East Valley (Yakima) and his 23rd season overall coaching high school football. East Valley is off to an incredble 3-0 start outscoring opponents 114-16 adding a big upset win over Prosser 13-7.

Clark Pauls has been coaching football at Wellpinit for 17 years including making it to state in back to back years as recent as 2022-23. Coach Pauls is also the district athletic director for Wellpinit and a clear community leader. Wellpinit is off to a great start this season with a 2-0 start including a thriller of a win last week vs a 2B Bridgeport team 68-62. Wellpinit is averaging 65 points per game this season and look to continue their success under coach Pauls direction.
