Good morning, 12s. Here's a look at what's going on out there and any news you might have missed, about your Seattle Seahawks this week.

Seattle Seahawks cap off AANHPI Month

The month of May was AANHPI Month and to finish off the month, Seahawks staff and Seahawks Legend, Lofa Tatupu, visited Franklin High School for a panel and celebration.

Throughout the month the Seahawks have hosted a Happy Hour with the Hawks at Hood Famous Bakery and visited Ping's Dumpling House to make dumplings.

During the panel, Tatupu and staff shared highlights of their stories as members of the AANHPI community in sports.

Mike Macdonald joined The Adam Schefter Podcast

Since being hired in January, Mike Macdonald has hit the ground running putting together a coaching staff, signing and drafting players as well as diving into his first OTAs as a head coach.

On the podcast Macdonald talked with Schefter about his journey to the NFL, coaching under the Harbaugh's and why he chose Seattle.

"It really just meshed. It made a lot of sense. So much alignment from the get-go with [John Schneider] and the rest of the leadership team, Jody [Allen]. It was just one of those deals, when you're asking people for advice going through the process, the common thread was 'You have to have alignment with you and the GM.' And John and I's relationship, I'm just so thankful for having him as a resource, he's been super helpful. I feel like we're attached at the hip at this thing."

Geno Smith joined The Jim Rome Show

With a couple OTA practices in the books, the Seahawks offense has begun being rolled out under offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb and quarterback Geno Smith said that he's seen things from Grubb's offense that he hasn't seen before.

"In the past two weeks, I've seen plays that I have never seen before, and that's something to say for a 12-year veteran," Smith said on the show. "Coach Grubb, he's come right in, and like coach [Mike] Macdonald, he's laid it out for us. He's set the tone. He's got high expectations. We got high standards. The guy, he's got some plays. I can't wait to get out there and show the world."
