Monday Round-Up: Twitter Reacts To Seahawks' Acquisition Of Jadeveon Clowney

A mix of players, fans, and news sources, both national and local, all responded in force via Twitter to the Seahawks’ acquisition of defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.

Good afternoon, 12s.

Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Monday, September 2 – about your Seattle Seahawks:

Welcome To Seattle, Jadeveon

Unless you've been off the grid for the past couple of days, I'm sure you've heard the news on who will be the newest player to suit up in a Seahawks uniform. It's official—we announced yesterday that we acquired defensive end Jadeveon Clowney from the Houston Texans.

There was plenty of speculation leading up to the trade, but now that it's official, Twitter is going nuts. A handful of players, fans, and news sources have all been tweeting about the trade. We decided to pull together a collection of tweets, so you can stop scrolling.

Let's start off with our QB1's humorous post. Seems like Wilson's pumped to have Clowney join the team.

And of course, lots of excitement from our 12s.
